WOOD FLOORS

Solid Wood

Solid wood is homogenous wood from top to bottom. The thickness of solid wood flooring is typically 15-18mm. Solid wood lasts for decades if it is well maintained. It is best used in living areas, dining rooms, bedrooms and hallways. It is recommended to avoid using solid wood in areas that are exposed to water or moisture.

Engineered Wood

Engineered wood is a versatile, layered product, made from a thin slice of hardwood or plywood, with a layer of hardwood veneer fixed to the top surface. The thickness of the uppermost layer of this wood is typically 10 – 18mm. Engineered wood is more stable and resistant to heat as well.

Our engineered woods also come pre-coated with aluminum oxide and a special ceramic coating, making them super resistant to abrasion.
