Okan is an African hardwood that has golden-yellow strip grains, finished with a natural pearly effect. Okan is extremely resistant to termites and is not easily subjected to wear and tear.
Since an Okan tree takes about 150 years to grow, its trunk has a larger diameter, which enables a higher floor grade timber floorboard. Also, since Okan has an oily wood fibre structure, it is more resistant to water and moisture.
